(B) The state medical board shall issue, without examination, to an applicant who meets the requirements of this section a certificate of conceded eminence authorizing the practice of medicine and surgery or osteopathic medicine and surgery as part of the applicant's employment with an academic medical center in this state or affiliated physician group practice in this state. The statement shall at all times accompany that part of the record in contention. The Interstate Commission may close a meeting, in full or in portion, where it determines by a two-thirds vote of the Commissioners present that an open meeting would be likely to: 1) Relate solely to the internal personnel practice and procedures of the Interstate Commission; 2) Discuss matters specifically exempted from disclosure by federal statute; 3) Discuss trade secrets, commercial, or financial information that is privileged or confidential; 4) Involve accusing a person of a crime, or formally censuring a person; 5) Discuss information of a personal nature where disclosure would constitute a clearly unwarranted invasion of personal privacy; 6) Discuss investigative records compiled for law enforcement purposes; or. (E) The council may submit to the board recommendations concerning all of the following: (1) Requirements for issuing a license to practice as a licensed massage therapist, including the educational and experience requirements that must be met to receive the license; (2) Existing and proposed rules pertaining to the practice of massage therapy and the administration and enforcement of this chapter as it pertains to massage therapy; (3) Standards for the approval of educational programs required to qualify for licensure; (4) Policies related to the issuance and renewal of a license to practice massage therapy; (5) Fees for the issuance and renewal of a license to practice massage therapy; (6) Standards of practice and ethical conduct in the practice of massage therapy; (7) The safe and effective practice of massage therapy, including scope of practice and minimal standards of care. Any action taken against those professionals is also listed on the medical board website. State Medical Board of Ohio No application shall be considered filed until the board receives the fee. (H) A delegate under this section shall immediately report to the supervising physician any clinically significant side effect following the application of the light-based medical device or any failure of the treatment to progress as was expected at the time the delegation was made. In such a case, the holder shall include with the application a one-hundred-fifty-dollar reinstatement fee. (19) Inability to practice according to acceptable and prevailing standards of care by reason of mental illness or physical illness, including, but not limited to, physical deterioration that adversely affects cognitive, motor, or perceptive skills. The auditor of state shall report any violation of either section to the state medical board and shall certify to the attorney general in accordance with section 131.02 of the Revised Code the amount of any refund owed to a state-administered governmental health care program under section 4731.69 of the Revised Code as a result of a violation. (F) For delegation to a person under division (B)(5)(b), (c), or (d) of this section, the physician shall provide on-site supervision at all times that the person to whom the delegation is made is applying the light-based medical device. The Board members are appointed by the Governor and serve five-year terms. (c) "Conviction" means a finding by a court that an individual is guilty of a criminal offense through adjudication, or entry of a plea of guilt or no contest to the charge by the offender. (3) The podiatrist is certified in advanced cardiovascular life support by a certifying organization recognized by the state medical board. The board shall deposit any amounts received under this division in accordance with section 4731.24 of the Revised Code. (A) The state medical board shall issue, without examination, a visiting podiatric faculty certificate to any person who holds a current, unrestricted license to practice podiatric medicine and surgery issued by another state or country and has been appointed to serve in this state on the academic staff of an approved college of podiatric medicine and surgery in good standing, as determined by the board. The Legislative Service Commission staff updates the Revised Code on an ongoing basis, as it completes its act review of enacted legislation. Before being eligible to apply for reinstatement of a license or certificate suspended under this division, the impaired practitioner shall demonstrate to the board the ability to resume practice in compliance with acceptable and prevailing standards of care under the provisions of the practitioner's license or certificate.
